Our Herefords are relaxing on a rare sunny winter day. The calves wean themselves around 9 months. We then separate them gently by putting an electric fence between mother and calf. Neither cow or offspring ever look back. #nostress #cowsandcalves #cotswolds #itsthehownotthecow

We still have turkeys available! find your local turkey farmer and support them, sales dropped off a cliff when the bird flu in turkeys story hit the headlines and I think people rushed out and bought frozen.

Heads down in the hay. Still well below freezing. It’s very beautiful but everything takes twice as long to do. #cotswolds #cows #winter #snow #ice @PastureForLife
The cattle were waiting for their hay this morning. Their rumen acts like a hot water bottle, so they are happy outside #happyherefords #naturalbehaviour #cows #winter #snow #cotswolds
Our books are closed for Christmas as we have sold out! Every year we order our beautiful turkey from lydiardturkeys.co.uk. They cook quickly, are succulent and taste THE BEST! Please support local producers. You won’t be disappointed! #shoplocal @LydiardTurkeys
Are you my Daddy? A lovely demonstration of our placid Hereford bull. The hot dry summer seems a long time ago as it has been a long dark morning of pouring rain. #herefordcows #sunshine #rain #regenerativeagriculture #organic #localbrand @PastureForLife
Back to our lovely Herefords moving gently in the autumn sunshine. Calming changing fields. #herefordcows #organic #mobgrazing #regenerativefarming #cotswolds #local @PastureForLife
