Last week saw the opening of the four drop-off sites across the city that is an attempt to prevent disruption of the strike action by the bin lorry drivers. For some of our most popular questions answered about the drop-off sites, visit our website: orlo.uk/FnzEp

Reminder – as drivers will not be on strike this week our crews will be out to empty bins as usual. This also means that the drop sites for people to take their securely bagged waste will not be opening next week. Check your scheduled collection at orlo.uk/BinDays_GDqZ9

It is vital that we all continue doing the following: Hands - Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds Face - Wear a face covering (if you can) where required Space - Stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place #StaySafe

BINS UPDATE – we are putting on extra crews so we can collect all missed garden waste next week. Put your brown lidded bin out with your green lidded bin on your scheduled collection day. Scheduled garden waste collections will also go ahead as usual. Thanks for your patience.

Brown-lidded garden waste collections have also been suspended for this week. This is so, when the conditions allow, our crews can catch up on missed green-lidded and blue-lidded bins. Please take your brown lidded bins back in. Thanks for your patience

There will be no bin collection today due to the snow and icy conditions. If you were due a collection today please leave your bins out and we will try to get back out as the conditions improve this week.
