🧵$TATAKAE: Why It Is a Sleeping Giant
A breakdown of the collection, the token sink, and the implied valuation path to TGE.
1. Project Overview
@tatakaefyt is a 3,555-piece Ethereum NFT collection with staking that accrues $TATAKAE at a rate of 1 token per hour, capped at 24 tokens per day per NFT.
$TATAKAE is spendable in the Ichiba marketplace for physical TCG products—Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, vintage sports cards, graded slabs, and packs—sourced from the team’s long-standing brick-and-mortar card shops.
Tokens are burned on redemption, with shipping included, creating a deflationary supply.
A full on-chain token generation event (TGE) is planned in approximately nine months, with a starting supply of 55 million tokens (before burns).
This is an uncommon combination in crypto: an NFT yield mechanism tied to a real, inventory-backed physical-goods sink, operated by an established retail team.
2. Current State
The system is live. Staking and Ichiba redemptions are functioning today. The team has been building the project for more than two years, and the store is operating with weekly drops from existing inventory.
Because the team has operated TCG shops since the 1990s, redemption inventory is not vaporware. It is expansive and already in stock.
3. Current Theoretical Implied Value (Pre-TGE)
Comparing Ichiba prices with contemporaneous secondary-market TCG prices produces an implied token-value range.
Mid-to-high collectibles cluster toward $0.04–$0.05 per token.
Examples:
Typical secondary range for shop items ($USD) vs Ichiba price ($TATAKAE)
One Piece PSA 10s:
$70–$150 = 2,176 $TATAKAE
1999 Jungle 1st Edition Pikachu PSA 10s:
$700–$1,250 = 19,776 $TATAKAE
A working utility-implied band of $0.03–$0.06 per token is therefore reasonable for current physical redemptions on higher-value items. Cheaper packs are priced more aggressively to drive burns and community activity.
At a 55 million token supply, that band implies a theoretical fully diluted value of $1.65 million–$3.3 million if every token were valued at the current redemption rate. Only a fraction of tokens has been emitted so far, and only a small portion of the overall inventory is in circulation in the store, so circulating implied value is lower and could easily meet projections once fully backed by the physical assets alone.
4. Theoretical Price Path to TGE (9-Month Horizon)
These are scenario-based illustrations, not forecasts. They assume continued staking, ongoing burns, inventory restocking, and eventual DEX/CEX liquidity at TGE.
Conservative path (utility-led, modest speculation)
•Month 3: $0.08–$0.12 (growing awareness of the physical sink + first meaningful burn volume)
•Month 6: $0.18–$0.28
•TGE: $0.35–$0.55
•Implied TGE FDV on 55 million tokens: $19 million–$30 million
Base path (utility + narrative + listings)
•Month 3: $0.15–$0.22
•Month 6: $0.35–$0.50
•TGE: $0.70–$1.00
•Implied TGE FDV: $38.5 million–$55 million (approaches the stated reference cap)
Optimistic path (strong burns, TCG-cycle tailwind, exchange listings, additional shop integrations)
•Month 3: $0.25–$0.40
•Month 6: $0.60–$0.85
•TGE: $1.20–$1.80
•Implied TGE FDV: $66 million–$99 million)
Price discovery before TGE will be informal: OTC, implied value from Ichiba versus TCG comps, and the NFT floor as a leveraged claim on future tokens. After TGE, circulating supply, lockups, and liquidity depth will dominate.

Lots of new people are checking out @LazyEdgeSports right now, so I want to explain what it is and how Lazy Lions fits in.
This is not an AI picking games. If you ask a standard AI what it likes on a slate, you get a confident guess dressed up in dash filled grammar, with no tested data behind it. Even if you start testing things and give it context you need to backtest and run 6-8 hours of tests daily for months to get accurate data.
We use AI in two places, the first is modeling the prediction markets themselves. We built a proprietary system that tracks how prices move, so we can see when a price is likely to turn. The second is grunt work of course. We push eight hours a day of simulations and data checks through it, way more than a standalone AI would handle before it started making things up or quit.
The edges come from math, our quant models are trained on 27 years of play by play data and priced against the live book on every game and every line, before the game and during it.
The engine gets better every week. The next phase is a desktop app, basically a Bloomberg Terminal for prediction markets, so you do not have to build your own bot or agent. It runs on your machine and shows you the edges in real time, like a day trader’s screen.
After that we are taking it beyond sports. The same engine that predicts how a game plays out can track how products move on Amazon and Walmart, forecast sales, compare your packaging against the competition, and find the gaps in your category. That is a much bigger market than sports.
For Lions specifically in the future, the agents we are launching give holders access and tools that grow as these products grow. The rewards go to Lion holders, not just the ones using Lazy Edge. If you hold a Lion, you get rewarded whether you use the product or not, and the early holders who were here before any of this was proven come first. Other projects build fancy things and charge their own holders for them. We build products that Web2 companies will pay for and use, and the Lazy Lions get rewarded along the way.
I will be doing some videos this week breaking down some ways to use the Lazy Edge system and chat a little more about everything we are working on.

The @LazyLionsNFT just will not quit! They just keep building, the @LazyEdgeSports app is going places! There are estimated to be 30 to 35 million regular bettors in the USA alone, globally 400 to 600 million. There are 10,078 lions NFTs. You see where I am going here?
