I've watched this debate dozens of times and changed my vote more than once. It's fascinating to see two thoughtful young people reflect on what defines their generation.
I don't believe Gen Z is rising up around the world because it's less resilient than those who came before. While some earlier generations dared to imagine a better future, many in Gen Z are fighting simply to preserve the very conditions that make meritocracy possible.
