Your public "education" is showing.
From the initial complaints to the declaration of independence it was nearly two decades before the American revolutionary war was fought.
What does that tell you about time scales for "larpers" to take meaningful action?

So what? I'd argue it's MORE secure in some limited respects because sending or receiving a text isn't free, necessitating human-scale rate limits on the account provider's side.
If we're worrying about a takeover of the cell networks, nothing electronic will save you.

Well, I understand SMS Isn't encrypted and can be easily MITM'd by a sophisticated threat actor, but that's irrelevant because we're discussing low effort targeting by massive numbers of foreign agents, not defending against a determined government.
Unless you're making the argument that the same actor seeking to gain access to my bank account is also taking control of the cell networks, they are wholly different threat landscapes.

This is true, but while there will be no vulnerabilities there will also be no closed source software.
Everything with released binaries, from kernels to drivers to CPU microcode blobs, will be decompiled and I think we're in for a lot of surprises as we find all the previously hidden backdoors.
It's going to be wonderful when I can run Windows 7's UI on top of the SEL4 kernel with lightweight API translation layers letting me run basically any application for any OS.

My clone? How?

Yes
Well the Patriots intercepted that package and cloned me from the saliva you used to seal the envelope.
