ICE says Briscoe illegally reentered the United States after being deported following a New York conviction involving a 13-year-old girl. According to ICE records, Briscoe was 33 when he was convicted of s*xual abuse involving a 13-YEAR-OLD VICTIM. After his deportation, federal authorities say he returned illegally and was living in Mount Vernon, New York. In January 2025, Homeland Security Investigations received a tip through the ICE tipline about his location. Agents investigated, obtained a federal warrant, and arrested Briscoe during a targeted enforcement operation. His case has now moved into federal court in the Southern District of New York. Briscoe’s arrest comes as immigration enforcement remains a major flashpoint in New York, where state and local policies can limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities in certain cases. ICE has repeatedly urged the public to report previously deported criminal offenders who return illegally.
