I built a site called “Stay Warm” to help everyone in middle TN area find a nearby warming shelter! Feel free to share & spread the word — also, feedback is welcome! 🙏 @NashSevereWx @WSMV
this is hilarious.

The Franklin Police Department is currently investigating an ATM robbery that occurred at a bank on Aspen Grove Dr. Two suspects fled the scene and crashed a getaway vehicle in a ditch along General George Patton Drive. With assistance from @WCSO_Sheriff and @BTNPD, officers are combing the area, looking for two males, one of whom is photographed in the picture below. If you have any information, please contact 9-1-1.
I use Fable 5 (Devin Ultra mode) — it’s been great! Part of my dev workflow. 🤙
Hi @OpenAIDevs — I LOVE the Codex app! 👏 But your update last night wiped my recent threads in sidebar... 😭
(and probably broke it for 5M+ other weekly users too...)
Literally, following last night's Codex app update, a few of my threads just *vanished* from the sidebar, so now I'm over in @devindesktop finishing my orphaned changes!
Filed a detailed GitHub Issue w/ receipts, timestamps & DB forensics. Root cause: a migration version-38 checksum collision from PR #28655 — ironically, Codex review bot flagged it as a P1 risk *before* it was merged. 👀
Looking fwd to the @theo or @fireship_dev video on this.
This rant by @friedberg on @theallinpod made me proud! 👏 Thank you for pointing out the bigger existential problem:
👉 Our society's systems reward victimhood & entitlement.
Personal responsibility = ability to respond.
Self-control = ability to control oneself.
Sadly, fewer & fewer people in our world seem to have either.
David Friedberg on Personal Agency in the Age of AI: "Stop Blaming Everyone Else"
"We never talk about responsibility.
We always talk about where the government failed us and where these companies f***ed us.
And we never talk about, what did we individually do wrong?
How did I individually choose to drink 100 sodas a week?
How did I individually choose to get my kids addicted to social media? Where the f*** was I as a parent?
We don't talk about our responsibility.
And by the way, this fundamentally addresses this point about human agency, which I think is more critical in this era than ever because AI is going to flood us with f*****g everything all the time, nonstop.
What we choose to do in a world where we're already getting everything, and how we choose to not take everything that's being offered to us, I think is a critical part of what's going to distinguish human success from human failure.
And it's gonna become more apparent in the future, and not everything is about liability, and not everything is about the government failing us.
It's about people making choices and we don't talk about it."
Been using the new Linear Agent (beta) by @linear for last 24 hrs… it’s incredible.
(funny, I was actually building something very similar to this myself, but they beat me to it, and I’m extremely glad they did!)
I gave mine some SKILLS & “Guidance” prompt that’s tailored to my personality.
Zero hype—it’s an actual gamechanger!
No wonder I couldn't create new Linear Issues via MCP — @linear is totally down for me (US) due to an outage!
Been waiting for this day!! 🙌
Did @perplexity_ai just break the @linear MCP connector?! Worked fine till today...
We need more bold Christians like @JellyRoll615 👏👏
NEW: While other singers drop F bombs and virtue signal about ICE, Jelly Roll praises Jesus Christ at the Grammys.
“I know they're gonna try to kick me off here, so just let me try to get this out.”
“First of all, Jesus, I hear you and I'm listening, Lord. I am listening.”
“I want to tell y'all right now, Jesus is for everybody. Jesus is not owned by one political party. Jesus is not owned by no music label. Jesus is Jesus and anybody, everybody can have a relationship with him…”
It's both logical & wildly unsettling how Clawdbots are mirroring what we've done for years: find people & info that matter to us on Reddit, X, and FB groups. #tribes

33,000+ homes still without power and they've just extended the timeframes to Feb 11 for some zipcodes. It's too late to "summon" NES for a scolding. We need to help these people NOW.
1. Why can't our elected representatives call on Tractor Supply, Generac, Home Depot, etc to donate generators to Davidson County; use FEMA and TEMA funds to purchase the rest.
2. Then use the National Guard (who is already here) to get these distributed. We know the precise addresses without power.
Our elected officials need to ACTUALLY start helping! We need real and meaningful assistance for these people.
