Thought I’d play around with how I teach simplifying surds this week to my Year 10s as I am tired of learners not loving the topic! Linking it to prime factor trees, but square factor trees and it has worked so well - I am late to this party! Da iawn Blwydden Deg 🤩👏🏼

Had a great time at @LlangynidrSch doing some problem-solving with Y6 this morning! We simulated “the cereal box/happy meal problem” and they were fantastic at collecting and analysing their data! Looking forward to teaching some of them in September! #transition #problemsolving – at Wales, United Kingdom
