تین سے زیادہ لوگوں کا ایک ساتھ اکٹھا ہونا ممنوع قرار دیا گیا تھا، اس لیے وہ دو دو کی جوڑیوں میں، بازوؤں میں بازو ڈال کر چلتی رہیں۔ وہ ہر جمعرات کو واپس آتیں۔ فوجی حکومت نے انہیں "لاس لوکاس" یعنی “پاگل عورتیں” کا نام دیا۔
اسی سال دسمبر میں، ان کی بانیوں میں سے ایک، ازوسیتا ویلا فلور کو اغوا کر لیا گیا اور وہ پھر کبھی گھر واپس نہ آ سکی۔
لیکن وہ پھر بھی چلتی رہیں۔
1983 میں فوجی حکومت کا خاتمہ ہوا۔ 1985 میں فوجی جنتا کے لیڈر کا ٹرائل ہوا۔
پچھلے تین سالوں سے، جب سے ان کے بھائی عمران خان (@ImranKhanPTI) کو جیل میں ڈالا گیا ہے، میری والدہ ڈاکٹر عظمیٰ خان (@DrUzma_KhanPK) اور میری خالائیں علیمہ خان (@Aleema_KhanPK) اور نورین خان (@Noreen_KhanPK) ہر منگل کو ان سے ملنے کی درخواست لے کر اڈیالہ جیل جاتی رہیں۔ 21 ستمبر سے انہیں خود کسی بھی جرم یا الزام کے بغیر حراست میں رکھا گیا ہے۔
بیونس آئرس کے جرنیلوں نے ان عورتوں کو کم تر سمجھا جو بار بار سامنے آتی رہیں/احتجاج کرتی رہیں۔ پاکستان کے جرنیل بھی پاکستانی عورتوں کو مسلسل کم تر سمجھنے کی غلطی کر رہے ہیں۔
یا تو ان پر فردِ جرم عائد کرو، یا انہیں رہا کرو۔

30 April 1977, Buenos Aires. A handful of mothers whose children had been taken by Argentina's military junta gathered in the Plaza de Mayo to ask one question: where are they?
Gatherings of more than three people were banned, so they walked in pairs, arm in arm. They came back every Thursday. The junta called them "las locas" – the madwomen. That December, one of their founders, Azucena Villaflor, was abducted and never came home.
They kept walking. In 1983 the junta fell. In 1985 its leaders stood trial.
For three years, ever since their brother @ImranKhanPTI was jailed, my mother @DrUzma_KhanPK and my aunts @Aleema_KhanPK and @Noreen_KhanPK went to Adiala jail every Tuesday to ask to see him. Since 21 September they have been held themselves, without charge.
The generals in Buenos Aires underestimated women who kept showing up. The generals in Pakistan keep underestimating Pakistani women.
Charge them or release them.

So turns out, grand electoral theft, military takeover, abductions of Imran Khan, his family, and his party workers, and unprecedented levels of tyranny are not fuelling any fire.
Instead, PTI’s social media team is fuelling all the fire, according to this article.
Like I said, Pakistan’s entire journalism centres around victim blaming and dictator worshipping.

The party’s verified X account on October 26 reproduced a statement attributed to its founder @ImranKhanPTI, in which he used very negative remarks about the top military leadership.
The statement, however, was not a fresh message from the incarcerated former prime minister. It had originally been issued in 2025 and was reproduced by the party’s official social media account almost a year later, at a time when PTI was facing a series of political setbacks.
When approached for a reaction, a senior PTI leader said: “It’s sad.”
These posts, containing personal attacks, are shared without taking the party’s top leaders, including Chairman @BarristerGohar and Secretary General @salmanAraja, into confidence.
“The move to revive the statement has raised questions about the purpose of its republication and whether the party’s official social media strategy is helping it secure political support or further narrowing the space for political engagement,” a #PTI leader wondered.

🇺🇸🇵🇰🇦🇫 The U.S. found a way to send Afghans back without dealing with the Taliban.
Washington has no ties with the Taliban, which means no easy deportations straight to Afghanistan.
So insiders say over 150 Afghans will be flown from Louisiana to Pakistan instead, starting as soon as Monday.
Pakistan is then expected to push them over the border, something it’s done to more than 2.7 million Afghans since 2023, though it hasn’t said a word about this publicly.
And some on that flight could be in real danger, like relatives of people who helped the U.S. military and at least one gay man, where that can get you killed.
So the U.S. skips the Taliban, and Pakistan, already doing this on its own, would handle the rest.

🚨 THE TITANIC WASN'T A TRAGEDY. IT WAS A MASS EXECUTION TO BIRTH THE FEDERAL RESERVE SLAVE SYSTEM 🚨
In 1912 the Rothschild banking cartel and their puppet J.P. Morgan needed to eliminate the final roadblocks to total control over America's money. Three of the richest and most influential men on Earth stood in their way. These men saw the scam clearly and fiercely opposed the creation of a private central bank that would enslave generations:
John Jacob Astor IV: wealthiest man aboard, strong Tesla supporter, outspoken critic of centralized banking tyranny.
Benjamin Guggenheim: mining billionaire with massive influence.
Isidor Straus: Macy's empire founder, another titan who refused to kneel.
These three billionaires rejected the Federal Reserve Act: a sinister private cartel owned by elites, designed to print infinite fiat debt, finance endless wars, and profit from human misery and death.
So the cabal set the trap. The "unsinkable" Titanic's maiden voyage became the perfect hit.

France, 1897, a double-decker train more than 125 years ago!
This remarkable early film shows a double-decker suburban train arriving at Joinville-le-Pont, just outside Paris, on the Vincennes railway line.
These unusual carriages provided extra capacity for the growing numbers travelling between Paris and its suburbs. Passengers could travel on the open upper deck, reached by external steps.
Filmed by French cinema pioneer Auguste Baron in 1897, it captures everyday commuters at a time when moving pictures themselves were still an astonishing new invention.

🚨 Legendary actor Sir Patrick Stewart has died at 86.
For millions, he was Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek. For another generation, he was Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men.
A career spanning more than SIX DECADES, from Shakespearean theatre to two of the biggest franchises in entertainment.
Stewart died at his Los Angeles home following a battle with Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body dementia, according to reports.
One of the most recognizable voices and commanding presences in film and television.
Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart.
