kaspa:native just opened the stablecoin door!
For years Kaspa has been one of the fastest, cheapest chains in crypto with not enough built on top of it. One of the pieces that was always missing is a native stablecoin, the thing lending, trading and payments all need to function.
Last week’s KCC-20 upgrade changes that. Anyone can now build a stablecoin directly on Kaspa’s base layer, and a core dev is already building the first one.
This could be the turning point for Kaspa we have all been waiting for!

Bitcoin and Litecoin use single-chain Nakamoto consensus: one parent per block, orphans discarded. Faster intervals raise orphan rates and dilute security. Litecoin’s 2.5 min is a modest parameter tweak.
Kaspa’s BlockDAG + GHOSTDAG lets blocks reference multiple parents. Parallel blocks stay, ordered by connectivity into a blue set. This yields 10 BPS while keeping the 51% threshold, as the PHANTOM/GHOSTDAG paper proves—no traditional speed-security trade-off.
Kaspa is the clear leader in pure PoW scalability innovation. Absolute economic security still favors Bitcoin’s scale and history.

Following the release of v3.7.0, Crynux Node v3.7.1 is now live. This patch fixes task execution issues and reduces VRAM usage for heartbeat tasks on 16GB nodes.
