in my culture it's an insult for a man if u offer to pay, we got raised spoilt by them but we also love to spoil our men when I was 21 I already had a job and my fiancé was in his last year at university, so just coz I could, I gifted him a trip to Thailand (tickets, hotel, restaurants, all covered by me) and it cost me around $3k (it was 2013) that's a message to western men who call eastern girls gold diggers just coz we don't do 50/50👀
