Not your keys not your coins. Market reacted very harshly when @binance delisted us, when in hindsight it could be the best thing that can happen to a project which requires decentralization to become valuable.
La razón de ser de una blockchain al final se impone: Cero intermediarios, decentralización y seguridad son parte de las agujas que señalan su norte. Adelante !
We are using @OpenAI Frontier Models to Harden Its Code Ahead of zkSYS Launch
blockdesk.news/syscoin-uses-…
AI is pushing forward and so are we, with a dual account structure UTXO with default policies in wallets to use addresses only once, you are protected! On the NEVM there will be precompiles just like on zkSYS to make post quantum signatures fast enough for regular every day users.
At @Syscoin we have been proposing hash-based future for all major components of the chain, this includes starting with @bitcoin and PoW merge-mining for security, doing the data availability in hash based design to scale the ZK layer which settles on an EVM which has hash based account safety. It is getting close to reality now and not only is it more secure but will also scale much better. It's not only that it should be secure from quantum attacks but AI may also reduce security of lattice's or anything with major algorithmic structure in its construction. We feel hash based safety is the best option and those projects not doing so will be building on shaky foundations. zkSYS will be launching in the "near-term" and will include what is in that roadmap as we felt it was prudent to release something for tomorrow instead of today given the advancements happening with AI. We will also include "horizon" things like post-quantum SLH-DSA smart accounts available in @PaliWallet upon release.

Working on SLH DSA based sentry nodes. Removing the DKG and MPC replacing it with direct signatures, and a 3.6mb commitment of 801 signatures which validate in 1ms (parallel). A global key will replace the BLS owner key with a FIPS 205 SLH-DSA-128s (7856 bytes). At around 3k SNs this is less than 24mb. A merklized tree of subkeys are created under C11 (SPHINCS-) which is 3976 bytes and 2^14 signature budget. Much faster to sign, and gives the 3.6mb commitment with 801sigs. Why 801? Because you have 4 quorums of 400 nodes, while each quorum you want 267/400 safety (33% liveness), distributed over 4 quorums and 3 out of 4 need to sign. 267*3=801. This will only work on @syscoin because it is purposefully slow at 2.5m block times, auxpow with @bitcoin and we finalize every 5 blocks. This gives adequate buffer for the bandwidth overhead. The DA layer is also hash based (keccak or blake2s), which feeds zkSYS (zkVM layer) for speed and convenience. Lastly once we figure out which direction BTC is going (likely shrimp/shrinc/sphincs), we can complete utxo PQ, once EOAs on eth figure out which way (hopefully hash based), we will finish EVM PQ. The reason we need the safe large sigs is because we reuse addresses with sentry nodes across validator usages, and although hash based snarks are becoming viable, they still open new games and attacks and I prefer safety first with 128+ bit PQ security at minimum.

Most chains scale by asking you to trust more.
zkSYS is built to do the opposite.
The new testnet update covers Airbender proving, compact Syscoin DA, a lighter Gateway, full local verification, and post-quantum smart accounts.
More scale. Less trust.

Great ! Security first... secfi
I was inspired by recent SLH-DSA / "SPHINCS-" work from Nicolas Consigny and wanted to see what it would look like inside real smart account infrastructure. ethresear.ch/t/sphincs-minus…
So we wired the idea into @PaliWallet's smart-account direction and enabled a zkSYS precompile path for efficient post-quantum account security. We now have NIST-approved parameter set optimized for zkSYS users while still enabled for Ethereum and other EVM chains. You can try this on zkSYS testnet today.

Alot of misinformation here because NEVM is for settlement not for retail, zkSYS which we are launching is showing you how to scale in a modular way properly. It's called seperation of concerns in software and ensuring we seperate scale from security. The blocktimes are purposefully high on L1 and zk layers (migrating from rollux) is where activity should be. It has taken 10+ years to get here because thats how long its taken for the design/crypto to mature to get here, it simply wasn't possible before and it is now.

If working for 10+ years working 12+ hours a day isn't commitment I don't know what is. We comply and have addressed all criteria as far as I know so I am curious how these things are decided 🤔
🤖 Made with AI
Binance has announced the delisting of Syscoin.
It’s disappointing, no question about it. A lot of you are probably feeling pretty frustrated right now, and we get it.
But this doesn’t change what Syscoin is or where we’re headed.
We’ve been building for over 11 years , we were here before Binance, we kept building through everything with them, and we’ll still be building long after they’re gone. When the Monitoring Tag first hit, we reached out to them multiple times asking for clear, straight up feedback on what needed fixing. We never got any real answers.
So we didn’t just sit and wait. We took matters into our own hands, we talked with top market makers like Amber and GSR about strengthening liquidity, we pushed hard on our own to support the market, and we kept moving the project forward in good faith.
Here’s the truth: Syscoin is way bigger than any one exchange.
We’ve watched this space change over and over. Big platforms that used to dominate are long gone. Exchanges rise and fall, markets shift, but we’ve lived through every cycle and kept building. SYS is still trading on five of the top ten exchanges. The network is solid, the tech keeps moving forward, the ecosystem is alive, and this community hasn’t lost an ounce of strength.
We’ve come out tougher after every challenge before. This time won’t be any different.
We’re still here. Still shipping. Still improving.
A huge thank you to every single one of you who builds, trades, mines, validates, develops, and believes in Syscoin. You’re what makes this real.
The best chapters are still ahead.
Onward together.

A small change in the next @syscoin release closes one of the hardest problems in blockchain finality:
What happens if the finality set itself gets captured?
With bounded ChainLocks + Bitcoin AuxPoW, the answer is no longer just "social recovery."
It becomes a live proof of work (PoW) fight.

Blockchain security has two different attack classes:
Short-term attacks: reorgs, double-spends, temporary censorship, asynchronous network events.
Long-range/takeover attacks: using a captured mechanism to turn a temporary advantage into permanent control.
Most systems optimize one side.
Tomorrow is the last day for early bird tickets to Fintech and Web3 Trujillo Summit.
🔗 fintechtrujillosummit.com
Free passes available through the conference. PoB VI is running alongside it. If you are anywhere near Trujillo on May 22-24, this is where the builder community is heading next.
Proof of Builders VI is confirmed at the Fintech Trujillo Summit, May 22-24.
The event features speakers from BCP (Peru's largest bank), Buda(dot)com, Infinox, and IBM Investment.
Syscoin's builder community is sharing a stage with traditional fintech institutions for the first time at scale. That convergence is the story.
PoB I was 35 people. PoB V was 800.
That is not exponential marketing. That is a community that found infrastructure it believes in and brought its network.
Five iterations of consistency. That is what @DevElCuy's team has been building and it is compounding.
Don't miss VI.
800 builders showed up to PoB V.
Most of the people who will use what they created are not builders themselves. If you believe that public records should be transparent & permanent, that governance tools should be verifiable, that institutions should have infrastructure they can actually trust, then you are part of why this matters.
You do not have to build it to want it to exist.

It doesn't even sound great.
Syscoin is already a permanent and sustainable fix to Bitcoin that allows it to become modular without the need to change any BTC code at all. Drivechains are inferior to Syscoin's Edgechains and will almost surely have less security behind it too.
Excelente !
Sin desperdicios como siempre.

What about Bitcoin? Bitcoin must also be based if it’s going to bridge. For Syscoin specifically: merge-mined AuxPoW + a dedicated coinbase auxpow tag means Bitcoin miners themselves anchor Syscoin state. A withdrawal bridge can refuse to finalize if tag-inconsistency is observed within the withdrawal window; that is Bitcoin miners serving as cross-domain truth oracles, not a middleman committee.
