Dear NFT enthusiasts.. Lately, I’ve been paying closer attention to how this new NFT season is shaping up ; • How projects are performing, • How communities are reacting, • How WL hunting has evolved, • Where profits are being taken, • Whether people are buying into utility or simply the art, • And even how attention has shifted from one chain to another , to mention a few.. But there’s one question I keep coming back to: Has the new influx of enthusiasts actually benefited the old grinders or has it made the grind harder? The recent NFT revival, especially after the hype around the “Robinhood” chain, brought a fresh wave of airdrop hunters and Web2 enthusiasts into the space. On one hand, that means “more liquidity, more eyes and potentially more room for projects to grow. On the other hand, a lot of newcomers entered with the mentality of “NFTs are free money” And that mentality can be destructive. We’ve seen people undercut floors simply because they don’t fully understand the difference between an “offer price and a floor price” or because their only objective is to extract whatever profit they can as quickly as possible. That puts the old grinders in a difficult position. You’ve researched the project. You’ve followed the team. You’ve built conviction. You’ve probably spent weeks grinding for that WL. Then suddenly, the floor starts bleeding. So the question becomes: Do I sell because the market is telling me something or do I hold because my conviction hasn’t changed ? And perhaps that’s where the new NFT season gets interesting. The influx isn’t necessarily bad. New participants bring liquidity, attention and fresh energy. But for every grinder, the game may now require more than simply grinding. You have to understand market structure, liquidity, entry points, exits, community behaviour and most importantly, what actually gives a project lasting value. Is it the art or the utility or both ?
