Finalized a small but very interesting audit for @cryptoartcom - they are pairing NFTs with physical artworks and bringing the "provenance" of an artwork on-chain.
The on-chain component was relatively simple and well thought-out, it was really challenging to find anything serious!
With a bit of lateral thinking we did find a creative Medium that would allow an NFT owner to corrupt the "provenance" of an artwork.
Also found a bunch of Lows especially related to signature handling. Shout out to the protocol team for fixing absolutely everything even all the info & gas - the only finding they "Acknowledged" was fixed in an off-chain component!
I really enjoyed this audit as the protocol seems very cool and solves actual real-world problems related to artwork! Plus their available artwork is very neat and strongly crypto-aligned! Report👇
