Simple Earn isn’t really about chasing the highest APR. It’s about choosing the right level of liquidity for your crypto.
With Binance Simple Earn, you generally have two paths:
Flexible
Your assets can earn rewards while staying accessible. This can make more sense when you may want to trade, withdraw, or move your crypto without committing to a fixed term.
Locked
You commit your assets for a selected period in exchange for the possibility of higher rewards. The trade-off is liquidity.
And there’s an important catch people often overlook:
If you redeem a Locked Product early, you generally forfeit the accrued rewards, and any rewards already distributed can be deducted from the principal.
Binance says assets are generally returned to the Spot Account within 72 hours after an early-redemption request, although exceptional circumstances can cause delays.
You can also enable Auto-Subscribe, which can automatically renew an eligible Locked Product for the same duration when it expires.
The APR you see on the Earn page is also not something to blindly treat as permanent.
Binance notes that Simple Earn reward rates can change, and product availability, limits and terms can vary.
So before subscribing, ask yourself:
Do I need this crypto liquid? → Flexible.
Can I comfortably leave it untouched? → Locked may be worth considering.
Pick the product that matches your plan.
