@WalletConnect has added support for the @StellarOrg blockchain. It has also partnered with Penrose Partners to launch WalletConnect Pay for Bermuda merchants, helping the country become the world's first fully on-chain nation-state.
This enables the integration of Stellar-based applications into WalletConnect's ecosystem of 900 million end-users and 700+ wallets.
Point-of-sale payments are live through the @lobstr wallet, with custody services from @FireblocksHQ and @utila_io.
Bermuda's on-chain economy now has payment infrastructure.
