Over the last few years @SiGao17 and I developed a novel way of extracting leakage models from real devices. The cool thing is that whilst we can now accurately capture micro-architectural effects we do without giving a "helping hand" to worst case adversaries.

The biggest perk of being an academic is to work with PhD students: each one has a unique journey and it's immensely rewarding to be part of that. Today @mrcmrt905 successfully defended (pending approval of @BristolUni exam board) and me and @cryptostam are proud supervisors!
