Despite being the EPL's most successful club '09-18 with more fans than Liverpool. City were only permitted by EPL panel to earn £119 million (M) in sponsorship income over 9 yrs 09-18. EPL permitted Liverpool to earn £1,100M (10x more), Man Utd £1,030M (9x more) & Arsenal £724M!
The EPL's case is so biased it's frankly laughable to claim a more successful club, Man City, with more supporters watching its games should only be allowed to earn just 10% of the sponsorship income of its less successful, less popular rival, Liverpool and just 11% of United's.

'a plaything' - absolutely not! It's a serious business to them and definitely not 'a plaything'. Bottom line is one invests in the club & Manchester, the other has taken a profitable club and placed it under huge debt. Both are businesses to their owners.
