Finally some sanity.
Software engineers shouldn't fear being replaced by AI. They should fear being asked to maintain the sprawling mess of AI-generated legacy code their employer's systems will soon run on. Because that one will actually happen.

That's the biggest irony about Huawei: probably no company in China genuinely loves the West as much as they do. Their whole headquarters is a reproduction of famous European cultural monuments. And the West responded to their development by kidnapping the daughter of the founder, demonizing them and banning them left and right...
This city is not in Italy, France, or Germany. It's in China and it's less than ten years old. This is Huawei's R&D Headquarters, where 25,000 people work, and it might just be the most interesting office building(s) in the world...

Europe is in the fight of and for its life.
Reclaim Europe! From warmongers, Big Business, Big Finance and the Ultra-Right that has penetrated the Radical Centre. That was the message of a sea of people in Munich that the indefatigable Clare Daly and I had the honour to address the other day. United we stand!

The US government’s unrelenting pursuit of Julian #Assange for having published disclosed documents that included possible war crimes committed by the US military is nothing short of a full-scale assault on the right to freedom of expression | @amnesty amnesty.org/en/petition/juli…

Julian’s extradition order is under appeal and a decision is coming soon. If extradited, he faces a max prison sentence of 175 years. Let’s make it clear to the US government that he has the full support of the Australian community. Exposing war crimes is not a crime
