Fraudsters send fake bank debit messages with “YES/NO” polls to create panic, then lure you into opening malicious links, installing apps or sharing banking details.
✅ Verify transactions through your bank’s official app.
🔒 Never share OTPs, PINs, CVV or passwords.
🚫 Block and report suspicious senders.
A normal WhatsApp poll vote alone does not authorise a bank payment.
Lost money? Contact your bank immediately, call 1930 and report at cybercrime.gov.in.
