99/100 founder led initiatives are dumb. Doing nothing is also dumb. That’s basically why startups are hard.
A few thoughts
1) this is why it’s important to think about blockchains both as trading and payment systems
Payments propagate money. Which increases availability for trading
2) 99% of people thought that @toly ‘s initiatives around phones were dumb. I also thought the same thing for a while
The work that made this announcement possible was the early work on the Solana Mobile Stack

🚨BREAKING: Solana just hit an ALL-TIME HIGH in onchain activity with 5.2 BILLION non-vote transactions in August.
That is 19% higher than July's previous record, excluding all consensus voting traffic.
Memecoin trading drove the surge, with weekly spot volume hitting $5.2 BILLION, the highest since November 2025.
