The CHALLENGE Trial demonstrated that patients with colon cancer who followed a structured exercise program had better survival and quality of life outcomes than those who were only given educational information about exercise. It isn't always enough to tell someone they should exercise, behavioral change often requires assistance from a physical trainer. It's time to put this into practice! U.P.M.C. Hillman Cancer Center is leading the way in the USA by offering an exercise program for breast cancer patients beginning next year. If it's successful, the hospital plans to expand the program to all cancers in 2028. Read the full story in the New York Times:  tinyurl.com/4kbybfhb #CommonSenseOncology #CancerCare
