Hey @GenevieveFox21 have you ever been to Birmingham? Because your suggestion that the best cafe and restaurant for breakfast in Birmingham is Turtle Bay is pretty laughable. Also @guardian when did you turn into Buzzfeed?!
Soak up the limitless prosecco and cocktails with Caribbean specials, such as scrambled ackee and sweet-fried plantain or a soft bara roti stack with fried chicken at Turtle Bay Brindley Place’s bottomless brunch. Outside tables available

I think we sometimes seek closure as a way to appease our ego and sometimes it works but not always. The pain/upset/disappointment can still remain and we are left with more lingering hurt but deep reflection can lead to understanding and eventual peace.

You don't get to dine out on your grandparents immigration story when you're one of the top brass of the party actively working to stop others from ever having the same opportunity.

I know I say this often but if it weren't for Poundland, Savers and Wilko I'd have left this country by now. If they ever shut down I'd leave immediately.
