We'll be exhibiting at Opensauce next week. The booth will be a re-creation of my basement lab. We'll do live restorations on a bunch of hardware, including Apollo, HP, and the analog computer from the astrotracker. Come say hi in person! Marc & Team

Hi all, it has come to my attention that the company Apollo Instruments, which claims that to be developing a DSKY watch, has sent a mass mailing implying that I endorsed the product enthusiastically and am awaiting my watch. This is misleading.

Which does not mean they won't do it eventually - I lacked all of these when I started my first company , and it turned out quite well in the end! Anyhow, at the end of the conversation, I declined their request to do any advertising for the company on my channel at this point.

That said, the founder appeared enthusiastic and trying to engineer the watch as best he could, and I hope that they will be successful. I would love to change my mind once I see more evidence of product viability and business stability. In the meantime, exercise caution.

May the 4th retro-computing hack. I know. There was a wrinkle in space time, and I am one day late 🫤. Hopefully it still counts. Original full length video from 2019 here: youtu.be/UNdu0YQfvF0 #Maythe4thBeWithYou #Retro #Computing #Hacks

A new HP box-of-goodness was just delivered to the lab! It’s from 1972! US post office delay I guess 🤷‍♂️. What’s in it 🤔? Find out in my latest video youtu.be/DIzIDHcYfy8
