#finallyfriday to celebrate the end of one of one of the hardest weeks i’ve had at work, and as a thank you to the loooooveliest people who supported my wipwednesday snippet, here’s the next part of that fic.

oh man. chapter 4 of rubies was the one of the hardest things i’ve ever written…what a terrible cliffhanger for ao3 to crash after. although ch 3 would’ve been worse. 🤭 if anyone would like to read ch 1-5 during this ao3ocalypse, feel free to DM me ♥️🌓

i read/inhaled it last night. and i was like hey, if someone as lovely and cool as melly can take a year to write a chapter, then maybe i can do this ch 6 of rubies…and then this afternoon i finally wrote an opening i was 80% happy. so big thanks to melly and specifically “freckles” for its transformative courage in me.
