Travis Knight says the final battle in ‘WILDWOOD’ combines stop-motion, hand-drawn, and CG animation.
“It required us to use every single technique and technology that we’ve developed... but in the end, we want people to be enveloped in the emotion of the story.”

Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates.
Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term.
In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!”
For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films.
Happy Halloween 2026.

DC Studios co-chief James Gunn is defending his latest project after a user asked, “Who the f–k asked for a Clayface movie?”
Gunn shot back, rather correctly: “Who tf asked for Back to the Future? Casablanca? There’s Something About Mary? Pan’s Labyrinth? Fury Road? Weapons? The Matrix? Although it may seem like it, Hollywood isn’t a place where the only way to make a movie is the public voting on what IP they want to see that they’ve seen countless times before.”

Desperate and particular. Love the LD.
Larry David breaks down his hilarious philosophy on dating, fame, and why he doesn't care if women are only attracted to his wealth and status.
"Why would I care? Are they supposed to like me for me? Is that the idea? They had many, many years to like me for me, and that didn't happen."
"If a woman said to me, 'I just want to be with you for who you are,' I'd say, 'Get out of here! You've got the wrong guy. Go find a nice dentist.'"
"Like me for whatever you want to like me for. 'Oh, that guy, he's famous, he's rich, I want to go be with that' yeah, come be with me. That's a good thing."
"My problem is that I was very particular... which is odd because I was very desperate at the time. It's an odd kind of combination to be desperate and particular."
"Quasimodo was very particular. He had to have the best looking girl in the village. His friends would go, 'Quasi, there's a girl in my office with a wonderful personality,' and he'd go, 'Is she good looking?'"
