i never liked learning to code so messing w AI its like immediately obvious why Karp/Thiel philosopher-politician type run the most powerful software in the world. once u don't have to memorize obscure symbols explicitly its just all semantics or politics. Joseph Smith would run up a trillion dollar company in this meta. Lot of people say Mormonism makes no sense to anyone with a brain but im looking at the scoreboard and they appear to be up approximately 3 out of 50 of the United States to my zero That Sounds pretty logical to me.

friend of mine has parents together, both hard conservatives 16yo sister had zero screen limits + newest device since a toddler. Morbidly obese, dyed hair, spends all free time reading smut. Multiple SSRIs. 16yo bro. Social media will be seen as a heroin epidemic in 10yrs time
Ok so I have a friend of a friend who’s teen daughter has had a fully loaded iPhone since like 7yrs old, acts hyper sexual now at 15, extremely disrespectful to adults and gets awful grades but her mom makes every excuse for daughter because she is divorced from the dad. /2

It’s the most heartbreaking shit imaginable and I don’t understand how the people influencing internet aren’t held ruthlessly accountable Girls like this never stood a chance. Over from the beginning. U can argue the parents are ignorant, sure some truth to that but there was like a 5yr window where if u had a child and the smallest bit of faith in corporations u fucked your kid for life. It’s sinister. the people running these algos know exactly, with more fidelity than you could ever imagine what these teenagers are getting fed, yet they triple down on it.

Traditional VC is a dying model. Will trend to talented angels and tech research firms. Will be increasingly obvious bc of how deep you can now go with a technology, there will be ecosystems that are worth joining where u get the acumen, capital, and autonomy in 1 package instead of letting your talent get speculated on like a shitcoin by groups who have never conducted business themself. Like OpenAI + OpenClaw but not complete dogshit software.
88% of VC-backed founders who exited their companies got $0. Eduardo Azevedo and Kent Smetters analysed 157,669 startups and 248,454 founders from 1987 to 2025. Let that sink in...

Not the same as acquisitions. I don’t think any company has sorted an incentive structure that lends itself to talent for the next ‘meta’

It’s mutually beneficial bc you can’t have a team of 20 people truly go deep on a problem There’s a reason the top tech firms are called ‘hyperscalers’ and are funded by VC and have teams of 100 people getting lapped by singular randos on Twitter in terms of raw technique

device-building-devices and consumer device material suppliers who’s building this
this is pretty evil and clever. so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device. this gets shipped off to bixby.

Every last remaining thread of society is held up by SEC schools. God Bless America. U owe the south the remainder of ur hope for humanity.
🚨#BREAKING: The viral sorority rush dance trend is facing calls for a TikTok ban — but sororities don’t seem interested in backing down. Liberals called for a stop to it. Instead, they may have just made it bigger! What do you notice?

TLDR: we have hundreds of people building Ethernet cables and TCP. if I build ChatGPT im stealing the rest from under you because I can now.
believe this points to a bigger problem id argue is also extractive. Would say a majority of crypto projects use ‘rails’ and ‘infrastructure’ as a cop-out for not being able to produce a product people actually want to use, which is a much harder problem to solve. it’s a form of virtue signaling of the ‘ethos’ of crypto that somehow technical elegance or ‘identifying future needs’ is worth investing in by itself. Robinhood chain is literally nothing and has more users than most other chains. it’s the age-old issue of engineers/technical people not being able to grasp the idea of PMF, and deferring the problem to someone who hopefully builds that on their rails. It’s crossing fingers and hoping they get rich off of someone else’s critical thinking or business acumen. Solana went to ~$140B last cycle because of pumpfun, not the other way around. Pump was a product people actually wanted to use. The ‘long game’ for 90% of projects is cope for hopes and prayers because they see an easy ticket. Most of the people building something people actually want to use will steal that it right from under these ‘rail’ guys because they can and should.

broadly theres two things going on in crypto rn: big players playing the long game of bringing finance onchain, and pumpfun the long game guys aren’t super focused on customer acquisition rn as they’re more focused on what’s needed for the tokenization cycle (legalization, proper rails, etc) that gives pf the leeway to runaway with customer acquisition and shape what onchain is to favor their game. they have the money to do it and will keep doing it until the bigger and better things of the cycle start to play out in the middle you have crypto natives building cool new stuff onchain, but they get overlooked since pf dominates the attention game as soon as the new things of the cycle start to show themselves, theres a lot more interest in the middle and the bigger picture. until then you have this dynamic where the only company trying to acquire new users and shape crypto culture is actively working against what everyone whos been in the space wants

Yeah the Solana blockchain
Is there game theory literature about retrocausal effects of players that do not yet exist but are perceived to eventually exist by current players who take actions in anticipation of their eventual existence?

We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

think i have a way to prove that IQ is malleable and the only "genetic" aspect of it is your starting point. and that "genetic" aspect is also fake and is just environment, the result of how much you perceived your parents to value learning as a core value when you were a child
