Friends, it’s HAPPENED. After months of beta testing and feature refinement, Tangle is launching TODAY. I’m absolutely thrilled to release this into the world, and see how all of you use it to facilitate culture in YOUR studios.

Oh hello, friends! I'm headed to DICE in mere *days*. Cannot WAIT to see you all, it's truly been an age and a half.
And here I go again! This month, I noodle on leading remote teams, some struggles, some strategies, and (of course, coming from me) some suggestions!

We made a thing! This has absolutely been a labour of love from the entire absurd:joy team and I'm immensely proud of us and what we've made. Tangle has tangibly made remote work a joy, and I'm delighted to be able to share this with the entire community!

We now offer travel reimbursement to Bungie team members for gender-affirming or reproductive healthcare that is no longer accessible in your home state.
I encourage all other studios to do the same, to protect our shared human rights.
We are undeterred in our commitment to stand up for reproductive choice and liberty.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court just overturned Roe v. Wade, ending our constitutional right to abortion. We know you may be feeling a lot of things right now — hurt, anger, confusion. Whatever you feel is OK. We’re here with you — and we’ll never stop fighting for you.
It’s wild how rights— these things you think of as immutable, like stone or earth or mountains— are actually so ephemeral. They turn to vapor so quickly. It’s wild. It’s wild.

I keep thinking about how, with two months notice that this ruling was coming, the democratic-controlled congress not only *didn't* codify abortion rights, but overwhelmingly passed a security bill protecting these SCOTUS justices

Signed by me, Kelley Jones and Matt Wagner (the drawing is by me). From the kind of signature, and the drawing, I'd say it had already been a long signing when I signed it. (The @comixexperience Season of Mists Tour signing of July 1992 would be my guess.)
Hey @neilhimself! I just got this stunning first edition of Season of Mists at a tiny lil’ local bookstore on the North Shore of Massachusetts! Found this on the inside cover and was wondering if this was something? Thank thank!

Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.

I'm excited to announce that I'm joining @absurd_joy as VP of R&D! I'll be helping build a really cool remote collaboration experience called Tangle and working with an amazing team.
It's still in private beta, but you can find out more here: tangle.app/

Loved your quotes about immersive experience design & how you've got to answer to all curiosities ✨ Everything in the environment has a role to play; don't have a mug you can't pick up or a door you can't open.
