Sometimes the thing worth building is the thing that keeps surviving every version of you that tries to walk away from it.

This pastor reminds me of UNIBEN Ekosodin boys anytime I see him.
Leave Old Testament 10% is now too small to buy diesel and microphone to run church In New Testament people sold their land and properties and brought it to the apostle If you have not sold any property and taken it to your pastor you are going to hell

They pick what we want to hear in the old testament and discard the rest and pick the best of the new testament and discard the rest.

When you realize you’ve wasted a lot of time, your entire decade of the 20s will be gone and you’ll be 34. So before that distant future costs your entire life, regain your aura. Regain your attention and focus. Chase your dream house, dream car, dream wife, dream money, dream job. This is the best time: everybody is busy with their phones, lusting after AI girls, lacking great skills, overloaded with surface-level information and brainrot, with shorter attention spans. You have the upper hand over them. Get out of this bubble and start building from something, and you’ll notice bigger changes in just 6 months. Otherwise we will be doomed for life while other people enjoy theirs.

Lol! I forgot the word for prescription and told the optician - prescription in the most french accent I could find and she was like « comment » 😭 Ordonnance madam 😭😭
I moved from Canada to England while still in school, and one day in French forgot the word for umbrella (parapluie), and wrote ‘umbrellaire’ on a quiz. The teacher called me up later and asked if that was Québécois — I said yes, she laughed, and I got full credit.

Good people have high levels of empathy, but once that empathy is exhausted, they switch to a state of objective observation. They see you for exactly who you are, without the filter of their love. This is why their anger feels so cold, it is the absence of the warmth u took for granted.

I had 3 French teachers when I lived in Montreal. The first one was Quebecois, the second was Parisian & the third one was from Togo. They all taught different versions of the same language.

Lol! Met a béninois man recently and his pronunciation of « vingt » & « cinq » and mine had both of us saying « ehn ehn «  all over the conversation.

i like a man who actually LIKES me. not just a man who wants to sleep with me, claim me, or keep me from dealing with somebody else. i’m talking about a man who genuinely enjoys my company, wants to hear my voice, remembers the little things i tell him, and makes plans with me without me having to beg. because some men will swear up and down they love you but act like spending time with you is a chore. baby i don’t want to be somebody’s responsibility, i want to be somebody’s FAVORITE person.

I’m Swiss and lived in France for a decade. That’s is exactly what it is. The way she looks at that factory produced food is exactly the way we all would and should look at it. The scone is the clear winner by far.

I don’t think I cried enough this year. I think I need to start a fundraising process for character development.

If you see an opportunity that you desire. Do NOT stall. There’s no guarantee they won’t close the gate. Make hay while the sun shine and act as though you might not get that opportunity again. Go after it.

my wife just landed a confirmed offer at a tier 1 international school in singapore ($100k+ package) she is french, but teaches entirely in english. tier 1 schools almost exclusively hire native speakers from the UK, US etc when we met 8 years ago, she could barely hold a full conversation with me in english instead of complaining about the odds, she went to work - she spent past 4 years refining her english and mastering a british accent until she could code-switch effortlessly today she got the offer. a reminder that you don't wait for permission to be great - you build the skill, take the leap, grind for it and force the world to recognize your value
