Feeling incredibly grateful and lucky to have had the chance to build Interface alongside @wijuwiju0x and the rest of the team. It’s amazing to think that we managed to make something genuinely useful for people, and that so many had fun playing with it. Maybe we were a little ahead of our time, but what a phenomenal run!
Hi, I'm shutting down @interfacedapp, it's been running in maintenance mode for the last half a year to free up some space and minimise the burn to survive and reflect what to do with it going forward, unfortunately I don't see a sustainable path forward. I'm extremely grateful to everyone who's been supportive of us during our, what I would call a decent overall run since 2022, we had our ups and downs, iterated on a lot of novel ideas, wrote a lot of code with our actual hands, grew a bit, even for a period were profitable, then became complacent, over compromised couple of times and in the end failed to scale, nevertheless I'm very grateful for the opportunity and experience. A sad day for me, but as the saying goes: "better late than never", it's time to close this chapter. Thank you everyone who became part of this journey, our early crowdfund supporters and friends who suggested to pursue this idea, our incredible team with whom we've shipped great product for it's time, for our investors, especially @polymorphiccap who were the first to believe in us in a middle of a dead market. I sure hope that Interface was a net positive, regardless of the end result one might rightly call – a failed experiment in consumer crypto – an experimented built on an idea what a social network could look like when it is built by combining together various blockspace primitives in a mutual aid manner, sadly many of these primitives are long gone, and now it is time for us to go too. Thank you! Yours wijuwiju.eth

Did a rewrite of Jupiter Jots (jj.livesoftwaredeveloper.com), a bookmarking extension with better UI & better flows. This second version is more lit: 1. Order bookmarks into collections which can be nested and you can use tags

All these will be coming together well. For now, kindly visit chromewebstore.google.com/de… install the extension on chrome, and test it out for yourself, send me some feedback here or leave a review!

It works with Brave browser and Microsoft Edge too

3. Full collection and tags management 4. A one click save ie if the extension is open in the panel, the current page is loaded for you to just hit "save" and update it with some context or select collection and tags. Or right clickicking and "save to Jupiter Jots"

Week one of Data Engineering with @AnalyticSages done. I built a pipeline that pulls the latest Bitcoin blocks, cleans them with Pandas, and loads them into Postgres. All in Docker. One command. Simple ETL on paper. The real lessons came from debugging. Docker has its own network brain. pip inside my build kept failing with "No matching distribution found for pandas." The real error underneath was DNS. Docker Desktop runs in its own VM, so I had to set DNS in the Docker Engine config itself. IPv6 can quietly break things. My container looked up the API, got an IPv6 address, and had no route to it. Forcing Python to use IPv4 fixed it. Your network decides your data source. mempool.space was unreachable from my connection, even in the browser. I switched to Blockstream's Esplora API. Same block format, zero code changes beyond the URL. Inside a container, localhost means the container itself. My script reads DB_HOST from an environment variable, so the same code runs on my laptop and in Docker. Healthchecks matter. The ingest service waits until Postgres reports ready before it runs. Always read the full error. The first line usually lies. Data Tribe: @AnalyticSages Data source: @Blockstream Esplora API Project: github.com/Zeegaths/data-eng…
