Ardern and Shaw, willfully or no, were taken for a ride by National and Fed Farmers on climate change. Nats/Feds delayed climate action with false promise of seeking 'consensus'. As soon as they had the power they ditched He Waka Eke Noa and 'Zero Carbon Act'. Don't get fooled again

Been discussing classic cartoons with my 10yo Eddie. I love how kids have no context about some things that seem completely seminal. Introducing him to Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and then he says "and yeah, what's that blue turkey thing... you know, the one that runs really fast?"

Apparently, even the good folk at FunKiwi are afraid to say his name. Stay tuned for how this outfit turns out tonight.

It beggars belief that this crook can just leave a huge debt and start another business like nothing has happened. Having dealt with him personally, he's an arrogant POS and I hope no-one gives him a cent. nzherald.co.nz/nz/darleen-ta…

The idea that you should stop working from home simply to prop up commercial property owners and CBD businesses is laughable. What about the suburban cafes that are now doing well during the week? The reduction in pollution and health benefits from unnecessary commuting?

I skim read this and missed the line “arrested as a result” and thought the new ACT justice policy might’ve come in… 😮

Ever since the @FlyAirNZ update I’ve been unable to book flights on my laptop and now, at the airport, the app has also stopped working. Jetstar starting to look almost tempting…

Our series 'What If...' is live on @RNZScience - episode one looks at how genomics is helping to save the kākāpō, including using the same techniques deployed during COVID to trace the origins of the birds' own recent pandemic... rnz.co.nz/genomics

Eddie and I were driving back from football and heard an add for the @blueseptembernz swear jar on the radio. What a great idea we thought. A good excuse to try and weed out the swearing, or as Eddie thought, he can swear whenever he wants and say "it's for a good cause"

Between the guy who undid too many nuts on the Northland pylon, the person who pushed the update for Crowdstrike, and the crane operator* for Team NZ, there's a real fight for Employee of the Year 2024 *or whoever ends up being responsible
