Heureusement qu’il existe cette vidéo où ils expliquent si gentiment comment ils ont choisi LD Kabila comme on choisit un chef de guerre au rabais. Et n’oublions pas le détail croustillant : James Kabarebe , qui passe de « chef d’état-major » de l’armée congolaise à ministre de la Défense du Rwanda. Du grand art !

Le Rapport Mapping
Ce rapport à lui seul aurait pu contribuer à mettre fin aux cycles de violences que traverse la RDC.
Projet « Mapping » concernant les violations des droits de l’homme de 1993-2003 en RDC
C'est suite à la découverte de trois fosses communes dans l’est de la République démocratique du Congo (RDC) à la fin de 2005, les Nations Unies ont annoncé pour la première fois, dans un rapport au Conseil de Sécurité en juin 2006, leur intention d’envoyer une équipe de spécialistes des droits de l’homme en RDC pour y dresser un inventaire.
En mai 2007, le Secrétaire général des Nations Unies a approuvé le mandat du Projet Mapping suite à une série de consultations avec les agences onusiennes et autres partenaires concernés de même qu’avec le gouvernement de la RDC.
Le rapport du Projet Mapping de plus de 550 pages comprend une description de 617 incidents violents survenus sur le territoire de la RDC entre mars 1993 et juin 2003. Chacun de ces incidents suggère la possibilité que de graves violations des droits de l’homme ou du droit international humanitaire aient été commises. Chacun des incidents répertoriés s’appuie sur au moins deux sources indépendantes identifiées dans le rapport. Un incident non corroboré – s’appuyant sur une seule source - aussi grave soit-il, ne fait pas partie du présent rapport.

Rwandan refugees and diaspora members have issued an open letter calling for justice for #KaberaRobert, a Rwandan refugee found beheaded near his home in Kampala, Uganda.
Addressed to @KagutaMuseveni and @UNHCRuganda , the letter demands an independent investigation, urgent protection for his wife and children, and stronger safeguards for Rwandan refugees facing threats, abductions, enforced disappearances and intimidation in East Africa.
It also calls on @UNHCRgov , @hrw, @amnesty and other regional and international institutions to act within their mandates.

Hours ago, Zelensky went on US TV and was asked if he would accept a front-line freeze that keeps 75% or more of Ukraine.
He said: "Yes, right now, we have to freeze. And I think this is a real way to end this war."
THAT SAME DAY:
Trump's envoy Witkoff sat with Putin for about 3 hours outside St Petersburg.
Putin's aide announced Russia is ready for three-way talks ONLY "in principle."
Putin told Witkoff his troops advance EVERYWHERE, claiming the "strategic initiative."
Ukraine and Europe denied it. But Russia's net gain in 4 weeks was 3 square miles.
The same aide called the new Ukrainian and European ideas not very "useful."
Russia released 74-year-old American Stephen Hubbard before the talks. Witkoff called Putin a "humanitarian."
Then Russian missiles hit Kyiv that night — houses hit, 6 people INJURED.
3.5 million Ukrainians have ALREADY been living on Russia's side of the front.
That's 12% of all Ukraine, taken by Russia since February 2022.

Selon une source militaire, les rebelles ont attaqué les positions de l’armée à Kadeze dans le but de progresser et de sécuriser un passage pour l’acheminement de renforts en direction de #Kaziba.
L’armée congolaise a riposté avant de reprendre le contrôle du village de Muhungu, a indiqué un officier déployé sur le front.
« Nous avons riposté à leurs attaques, nous leur avons infligé une sévère défaite et nous avons repris le contrôle du village de Muhungu », a déclaré cet officier.
