@NYCMayor , you keep using the word “genocide” when talking about Israel.
If you truly want to understand what genocide looks like, as Chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, I would be happy to personally arrange a tour of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum for you.
Words matter. Especially from elected leaders. Jews in New York are being threatened and attacked, and rhetoric that demonizes Israel and the Jewish state has consequences.
I hope you are simply ignoring the impact of your words and not purposely trying to normalize antisemitism.
My invitation is sincere. Come to the Museum. Learn what genocide actually means.
We’re horrified — but not surprised — by today’s brutal attacks on the Upper West Side, when a man shouting “Allahu Akbar” stabbed two New Yorkers, one Asian and one visibly Jewish. We’re grateful to the NYPD for its swift response in apprehending the suspect and pray for the victims’ full recovery.

Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who was often at the center of national security leaks, while rarely (never?) producing any actual work.
He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the President of the United States.
This isn’t some principled resignation—he just wanted to make a splash before getting canned. What a loser.
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

Hamas brought additional hostages to the release location today, compelling them to witness their fellow captives being freed while they pleaded to return home. Among those hostages were Evyatar David and Guy Dalal Gilboa. They subsequently filmed a propaganda video in which they begged for help.

Hamas returned a random body, falsely claiming it was Shiri Bibas, alongside the remains of her two children—whom they murdered in captivity. At the same time, they attempted a mass bus bombing and planted explosives at a children’s waterpark. This is pure, calculated evil. They must be eliminated.

HORRIFYING new details on the captivity of Or Levy, Eli Sharabi, and Ohad Ben Ami:
• Eli Sharabi did not know Hamas murdered his family.
• Unlike other hostages, they had zero access to media, and Or Levy and Eli Sharabi thought Hirsch Goldberg-Polin and Almog Sarosi had been freed.
• They were starved for months, surviving on hardly any food, and lost a dangerous amount of weight.
• Doctors report their heart, rib, and intestinal muscles are severely weakened, and the damage will take a long time to heal.
Hamas ensured the hostages will live their worst nightmares both inside and outside of captivity.
There are no words to describe Hamas’ pure, sick evil. Only prayers I can send to the returning hostages. ❤️🩹
