We lost another legend today. 🥹 Legendary Japanese voice actor Ryūji Nakagi has sadly passed away at the age of 89. Best known for his extensive voice acting career, including roles in Naruto, Gintama, Inuyasha, and Cowboy Bebop. Throughout his decades-long career, he brought numerous characters to life and left his mark on the anime industry, contributing to beloved series enjoyed by generations of fans. Rest in peace. 🕊️

As someone who knows nothing about resident evil, the movie was pretty entertaining! You gotta go into it without taking things too seriously tho 😂

My next goal is to get hired for a game trailer or something but it's rlly difficult. As in, last time I had a similar offer, it didn't work out bc their art direction was different from mine

For example, you see a 2d animated trailer then the game itself is 3d and the art style is not the same as the trailer. I've been baited so many times myself 💀 it sucks but happens

I think if a project doesn't align with my vision then i don't have a reason to pursue it unless im that big of a fan. Projects don't work out sometimes and it is what it is

It's more nuance than that! Some IPs don't let you do anything with their characters, period. Meanwhile others allow it as long as you follow their guidelines. The best way to go about it is by researching first

so basically artists can’t sell fanart or all that stuff cuz that’s illegal. what about yumeship commissions? 🫪

For example for OMORI its ok to sell merch as long as you're doing it in small quantities, they specify this on their guidelines. Don't assume that every franchise is going to have the same rules. Hope this is insightful!
