It almost doesn’t matter what the pay offer is. If it’s not funded it’s not possible. It really is as simple as that.
Not only is this true but schools are allocating significant resource in these areas. And disadvantaged schools still less likely to do 'well' with Ofsted. Wonder if there's a connection?
Schools are having to run an ‘unofficial network of welfare support’ for pupils, says @ASCL_UK's @Evelynforde1 as @WalkerWorcester warns that 'a whole system response’ is needed because ‘it can't all be dealt with by the education sector and by teachers’
