Even in countries with generous robust long-term care policies--like Denmark--having a parent with dementia takes a huge toll on children's mental health.

Last week @danieldench1 & I hosted #PPCW and Innovation Day. We gathered 91 people over the course of 3 days to execute a jam-packed agenda. It was so awesome! Thanks to all who joined. I could not be prouder to have pulled this off, and I’m so excited to plan for year 4!

He’s right, it’s a great conference! (And I’m not at all biased.) One week left before we begin eagerly reviewing submissions 🤩🤩
I bet you’ll get a chance to snap an unphotoshopped one at the PPCW (aka: the Lindsey and Daniel conference). And, my Sunday morning PSA for Twitter-sphere is that abstracts are due Dec 1. It’s a great conference folks. If it’s your area, don’t miss it. lindseybullinger.com/worksho…

Lindsey is a great colleague and friend. Very lucky to work with her on PPCW and everything else :).
It is possible (necessary?) to love your academic job and have other goals and priorities in life. As the semester comes to a close, I am happy to share that I have earned tenure. ...while having 3 babies on the tenure track and a healthy marriage to a medical resident. 1/

Enjoyed having a chance to present at the Economic Demography workshop yesterday! I presented new work with @jessica__kiser on a contraception initiative in Virginia and watched @lindsbullinger present our joint work on cash and child maltreatment. A stacked program! ;)
