Why not manage MU in Spotify like how @benthompson does @stratechery and validate subscriptions for premium content?
Also, does Spotify give any incentive to play videos like what JRE or All In pod do?
I could also flip this around to @andrewsharp @sharptechpod
You guys have been experimenting w/ video but I assume YT monetization is way better than any Spotify video incentive?
Is there advantages to pushing listeners to YT clips and NOT adding it to Spotify vs doing both?
The girlfriend is a huge @mysteriousuniv fan & enjoys the video content when she can watch. But her podcast app authenticates her subscription, so the premium content is audio only. Also switching between YouTube and the app never saves her spot.
Spotify could solve both issues?
