I've read that nano is easier to use than vi. Going through some training that provides instructions to use nano that never fail to make me feel stupid. vi is where it's at for me.

We are definitely living in an immediate gratification world. Watching my 7 y/o "complete" her assignments I can see she's fixated on having the task completed not understanding the exercise. I definitely have a better appreciation for primary school teachers.
