Tremont Street was in the top 3% of the most dangerous streets in Boston. In the 3-years leading up to it's redesign there were 54 EMS calls, including the tragic death of two neighbors crossing the dangerous 4-lane road in a busy mixed-use neighborhood.

It’s now worth $3 million, or 30x
45 years from now and another 30x, that’s a $90 million house.

It's not a failure. There are no alternate parallel routes and you have not identified or laid groundwork for any. A populist approach, polling residents, is no way to plan our future. There are 10s of 1000s of new jobs in Seaport, Councilor, and Bolyston St provides access.

Alright @EdforBoston I went down to Longwood on my lunch break. And I found the problem. Cars!
The bike lane isn’t even protected! The only hinderance to cars getting out of the way are other cars (many parked in the bike lane).
Pedestrians, bikers, bus riders deserve better.

Why does @MassDOT allow a Mercedes and pickup truck to enjoy free parking on the pedestrian plaza at South Station?
