As we’re sure you already know, we’ve cancelled this year’s annual Danson Park Fireworks.
We didn’t really have any alternative 🦠
However, be will be back next year.
Until then, stay safe.😷

💥Please RT to let everyone know💥
We have taken the very difficult decision to cancel Danson Park Fireworks for 2020
The Covid pandemic meant we couldn’t guarantee the safety of the thousands who attend the event and support us each year.
However, we will be back😀
Thank you❤️
Welling Round Table are sadly announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Welling Round Table Charity Fireworks at Danson Park. The Coronavirus Pandemic means we cant guarantee the safety of the thousands of members of the public , or the event will be financially viable.

Absolute honour to silver Blackheath and Danson fireworks displays this year. Great exposure for street duties working along their MSC colleagues. #EveryDayIsALearningDay

Another brilliant @danson_firework with the fantastic organisation that is @Welling503.
Proud to support to have supported this community event since I was first elected in 2014.
Organisations such as Welling Round Table are the definition of #doitforbexley!

I don’t believe councils should be funding firework displays. Danson Park Fireworks have been successful for many many years and are run by @Welling503 for charity.
