Question for Oilers fans - first year without our season seats and I don't know the rest of the building that well. Going to take my 5 year old tomorrow - suggestions on great places to sit or avoid sitting re: sight lines for him?

Shootout is a coin flip. You’d have expected a lot more from a lot more guys (especially in the first 40 minutes) after being embarrassed on home ice on Saturday. Injuries are a factor…but…they don’t preclude the guys who are in the lineup from playing adequately.

Oilers have a couple “defensive specialist” type players who seem to be on the ice an awful lot for goals against…

😉

If your name isn’t McDavid, Draisaitl, Bouchard or Podkolzin…

Just a tremendous meal courtesy of the Ukrainian Handmade Frozen Food store out here in Sherwood Park. Quickly becoming a family favorite.

Pulled out some the old hardware to show kiddo. Some guys have Stanley Cup rings. But nothing beats Tofield Tom Thumb Tourney MVP 1993 (everyone was MVP).

It’s hard to put into words how monumentally David Eby miscalculated in BC. Calling a snap election only to lose in a landslide to a party that hadn’t formed a majority since before the invention of the jet engine…they’ll write books about that level of duncery.

Toronto is playing so fast and they’ve got some really effective guys in depth roles. The Oilers have been really good in spurts- but nothing happens when their top line isn’t on the ice. That group has also had 2 breakdowns end up in the back of their own net.

Absolutely brutal. Not just the overall run of injuries for the team but this one in particular...he was playing so, so well.

Should add - Nuge…one of the greatest to wear the jersey ever - doing his thing. Long live Nuge.

Who knows where it goes but Oilers fans are seeing the best hockey McDavid has ever played, exceptional starts from Draisaitl and Bouchard and getting some saves from Levi… It’s fun to watch :)

Shootout tonight is a damn crime against hockey.

What a hockey game. Again.

Bottom 6 absolutely caved in tonight by Carolina. Gutsy to have them on the ice in that situation. Didn’t work out.

Good. Better. Best.

That doesn’t look good for Ekholm. These injuries, man. Cmon.

Walman continues to be in a giving mood.

Carolina is really, really good. Let’s not give them too many more gifts, eh?

That shot is unstoppable. Very literally just unstoppable.
