Two days ago Cape Verde held Spain to 0-0 with a 40-year-old keeper making seven saves. Congo are lining up with the same five-man block. Anyone treating a heavy favourite as a lock got the memo.
The spread tells the truer story:
Portugal -1.5 at 52¢, Congo +1.5 at 49¢. The market already thinks this is closer than the scoreline suggests.
