OK fine, but we need some *balance*
My recommendations for other elevators:
Ask: could the blood culture be a contaminant?
Ask: could it be rhinovirus?
Ask: could it be excessive antihypertensive medications?
Ask: can we stop antibiotics?
Ask: does WBC really mean anything?

Very nice work! With no iv lead in, further evidence that clinical criteria, and not some arbitrary, magical duration of iv lead in, is the key to going oral.
Patients diagnosed with a low-risk BSI after their discharge from the ED can be safely treated with a fully-oral ambulatory course of antibiotics #oralisthenewIV

The Medicare Freeze for the last 10 years has crushed medical care in Australia. Each year, @GregHuntMP sat back and let it happen. Without doubt the LNP have served to erode Medicare, driving patients to become the 'have's' or 'have not's' – at Adelaide, South Australia

I have no idea why people can not realize why pathogen outbreaks are happening more often: 1 - climate change and destruction of environment, 2 - globalization and movement of people, animals and goods, 3 - Weak public health response networks. In one word = human selfishness.

The response I have heard from senior members of the public health community is consistent with these questions and the concerns raised by the Human rights Commission.
We are very unhappy with these unprecedented measures being enacted under a public health banner.
