@SAPoliceService I am writing to report a serious allegation of sexual assault involving a 3-year-old child. The child’s mother temporarily left the child in the care of a nanny while she went to work. It is alleged that the nanny and her boyfriend then restrained the child and sexually assaulted her using a sexual device believed to be a dildo. When members of the community later confronted the man about the incident, he claimed they were “just playing with the child” and that this was something they “usually do” when looking after the child. I am requesting that the South African Police Service investigate this matter urgently. The child requires immediate protection, a medical examination, and appropriate support. People keep disrespecting SAPS officers and vehicles in public, and it keeps happening with little pushback. SAPS needs to do better at dealing with this and enforcing the law. @SAPoliceService
