South Korea's 22% crypto tax starts in January. The president's office: a delay is "under review", nothing decided. A ruling-party bill points to 2029. That would be the 4th delay 🫠 One reason: the US joins global crypto tax data sharing in 2029. Fair, or kicking the can?

Got money on Blast? Move it out today 👀 Blast (a network on top of Ethereum) is shutting down. Its easy withdrawal page closes today. ~$40M is still on Blast. After that, funds aren't lost. Then it goes via the contracts: more steps + a 1-day wait. Still in?

Thursday, CoinDCX's CEO: "this sounds like a false alarm" 🙄 Hours later: losses, but no number. Sunday: 15.99M USDT gone. Old wallets from their 2025 hack were still getting deposits. They say they covered it. But I want the truth on day one. Would you still trust them? 👇

2nd hardware wallet scare this week 😬 After Keystone, Passport maker Foundation says fake emails came from its real domains. Its systems were hit, incl. Cloudflare keys. Funds are safe, it says. Full report tomorrow. Never click links in wallet emails. Got one?

Someone borrowed ~$1.9M for one transaction. Won a vote with it. Sold the treasury's tokens to themselves 👀 X100 lost ~$4.75M, per BlockSec. Flash loan = borrow and repay in one go. No vote delay = open door. Would you hold a token like that?

A president promoted a memecoin. It crashed. Now the case is dropped 👀 It can still be appealed. An Argentine federal judge has dropped the criminal investigation into Javier Milei and his sister Karina over $LIBRA, at the prosecutors' request. bbc.com/news/articles/c64g1e…

The judge said no "criminally relevant deception" was proven. Milei always said he acted "in good faith" and only "shared" it. His reaction on X: "Now who compensates me?" But a dropped case doesn't mean money back. The people who bought are still holding the losses.

This is exactly why I keep saying it. A big name posting a coin is not research. Even when that name is a president. Have you ever bought a coin just because someone famous posted it? Be honest 👇

Netanyahu says he's already asked for a plan in case sanctions cut Israel off from the banks. Crypto is one of the tools. But Israel's own central bank pushed back fast: crypto "cannot be used" to get around sanctions. xitter.cf/TheBlockCo/status/2113…
NEW: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has requested a plan to explore blockchain as one way to help Israel counter possible economic sanctions, including banking restrictions, during an interview with Channel 10. Netanyahu did not provide details on how the proposed system would work. He also said U.S. military aid to Israel would eventually end, without giving a timeline.

His answer? "I listen, but I do what I think is best." So who's right? The central bank has a point. The big stablecoins like USDT and USDC can be frozen by the companies behind them. And blockchains are public. Every move can be seen. It's not a magic exit door.

But a few years ago governments laughed at crypto. Now a prime minister and his own central bank are arguing about it in public, days before an election. Smart backup plan, or just a headline? Tell me what you think 👇

New US rules: you should get your $1 back from a stablecoin within 2 business days 👀 That's for issuers under the US bank regulator, from Jan 18, 2027. Plus $1 in reserve for every coin. A stablecoin is only as strong as that promise. Does this make you trust them more?

Solana finality: 12.8 seconds → ~0.15 seconds (target). Alpenglow went live on mainnet Oct 21, per the Solana Foundation. Finality = when a payment can't be reversed. Exchanges wait for it before crediting you. Will you notice the difference?

Kraken asked $XMR withdrawers what they'd do with their coins 👀 Co-CEO Arjun Sethi said Saturday "they were wrong." Requests withdrawn. Source of funds? Fair to ask. What you do after? Not their business. Where's your line?

A whole network just got switched off 👀 @initia halted its entire chain on Friday after a hack. No blocks. No transactions. Nothing moves. According to the team, around $2.7M is gone. xitter.cf/initia/status/21136617…
As of Oct 23, 2026, 3:41:30 PM UTC, the Initia L1 and Rollups have been halted due to a security incident. Our team is actively investigating the situation and working to establish the full scope of any impact with security teams, validators, and exchanges. We will share verified information through our official channels as it becomes available. Please remain cautious of unofficial links, messages, or claims circulating during this time.

How? According to the team, a brand-new bug let the attacker create extra AUSD (their dollar token) out of nowhere and move it off the chain. They say $INIT itself wasn't affected. The $2.7M is still an early number, so it could change.

Not gonna lie, this is the part that gets me. We're in crypto because we believe in decentralisation. But if someone can press pause on a whole network, who really holds the keys? Be honest. Would you keep your money on a chain that can be paused? 👇

Someone just moved 19M $WLD to exchanges. Then the price dropped about 14% 👀 According to @lookonchain, an institution sat on these coins for over a year. Then it sent about $9.7M of WLD to exchanges. xitter.cf/lookonchain/status/211…
After over a year of inactivity, an institution moved 156,690 $AAVE ($22.86M) and 19.74M $WLD ($10.04M) to sell. So far, it has deposited 62,000 $AAVE ($9.12M) and 19M $WLD ($9.67M) into exchanges. arkm.com/explorer/entity/0e9…

So traders watch these moves. When they spot a big one, some sell first to get ahead of it. That alone can push the price down before the big holder sells a single coin.

To be fair, this doesn't prove they sold. Coins on an exchange are just coins on an exchange. And we can't be sure this caused the drop. It's one source, and the whole market moves for lots of reasons. Do you check whale moves before you buy or sell? 👇
