Today is a huge day for @datadotworld and our industry. We just announced our AI Lab, led by our colleague Dr. @juansequeda, a first for the data catalog industry! This has been a long time in the making as AI was in our sights since the beginning of our company and is, in fact, one of the reasons we chose our knowledge graph foundation. Our CTO @bryonjacob and I used to give talks quite frequently about how knowledge graphs would become the foundation of AI because AI would need well understood data to operate on top of. That future is here now with the launch of @OpenAI's GPT-3 and ChatGPT, which has set a record as the fastest app to reach 100 million active users. I’m sure many of you have been following how this technology is being layered into Microsoft’s Bing search engine to take on Google, which has already countered with its launch of Bard. Our press release linked below has the full details, and it’s awesome to see customer @WPP, an industry giant, already building on top of our open platform with their GPT-3 integration to make datasets far more discoverable within WPP, expand their use cases for datasets, and enrich their metadata. We expect that many customers, prospects, and partners will be interested in our new AI Lab and it will further position us as having our knowledge graph as a fundamental differentiator in the data catalog category.
