Gahhhh, preach @atnguyen ! I've been banging this drum for a bit - why do they have to be concurrent? They're two different experiences with different currencies.

And there in lies the reason my daughter is named Holland! Have you had Indonesian Rice Plate yet? Deeeee-lish! Enjoy!!✨
Planners can also do better. Tech isn’t the silver bullet. IRL or virtual, folx need structure + direction. Design discussion prompts that encourage conversation in small circles. Don’t just throw people in a room. Guide them + give them something meaningful to talk about.

Couldn’t fly out during a snow storm in Seattle - where SeaTac was cancelling flights left + right. Roads around our house were closed. b/c WA didn’t declare a national emergency, @Airbnb wouldn’t refund our $. It was up to the homeowner. We didn’t even get out cleaning fee back!

1. Everything is a choice. Choose your family over the work. Success is nurturing relationships 2. Every path is the perfect path. The experiences we are gaining now, even when some feel like a wrong detour, are the road we are meant to be on to prepare for what is next + true

@Bitcoin … that was bloody brilliant!
This is what I call a “probortunity”. A problem really is an opportunity when you reframe what’s possible. Some of the best ideas are born from this practice.
Next time you think your product has a problem--stop. It's not a bug, it's a feature. A simple framework for turning problems into solutions: 🧵
