I saw an old video of a UNM game and someone had a sign with it at the stadium. Bring it back!

UNM NEEDS TO GET CREATIVE TO KEEP JASON ECK IN ALBUQUERQUE! 🐺🏈
If the University of New Mexico is serious about building a winning football program, then it's time to start exploring every financial option available to retain Coach Jason Eck.
One option that deserves serious consideration is UNM's endowment.
Now, before anyone says endowment money can't be used for athletics, let's be clear. Much of that money is restricted by donor agreements and cannot simply be redirected. However, unrestricted endowment distributions and funds specifically designated for athletics could potentially help support coaching compensation.
Why isn't UNM taking a serious look at those possibilities?
UNM could also establish a dedicated football coaching endowment, allowing donors to contribute specifically toward retaining successful coaches and building a competitive program.
We're talking about protecting the future of Lobo football.
Coach Eck has brought excitement, energy, and renewed expectations to a program that desperately needed all three. The last thing New Mexico can afford is to build momentum only to watch another university come in and take the architect of that success.
And let's remember something! Winning football programs generate revenue, increase attendance, attract donors, strengthen recruiting, and bring national exposure to universities.
Investing in a successful football coach isn't simply an expense. It can be an investment in the university's future.
UNM leadership should be asking three questions.
1. How much unrestricted endowment funding is available?
2. Can eligible athletic endowment distributions help fund coaching compensation?
3. Why not launch a dedicated fundraising initiative specifically designed to keep Coach Eck and his staff in Albuquerque?
We cannot continue operating like a university that accepts losing its best coaches as the cost of doing business.
If UNM wants to compete at a higher level, it needs to start thinking and investing like a university that intends to win.
KEEP ECK IN THE 505!
Let's make it happen @RyanDBerryman

As the great @Beau_Davidson says… “there are no bad coaches, only bad leaders.”
The Lobos are 2 for 2 in @Coach_Eck.

And just like that, Republicans lead combined mail+early voting in Kansas. Ballots yesterday were R+13.0%.
Kansas is R+19. The next drop today will likely be R+15, and so on until Election Day is a blowout.
There are still 800,000 votes left to go and people ignore simple arithmetic because it isn’t as fancy as THE POLLZ.

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
