It is not just that Canada is the wronged party, nor that the US is tearing up a trade deal which Trump himself negotiated and described as “the fairest, most balanced and beneficial deal we have ever signed into law. “No, it is that Canada, not the US, is the country that shares (Britain’s) values.”
