Challenger brands usually win on fun. You get sharper creative challenges, real impact, faster decisions and that underdog drive to turn the tables. Leading brands bring resources, stability and prestige, but often more bureaucracy and less room to disrupt. Pick the fight if energy matters most.

This might be the funniest commercial I've seen in a very long time. Its for the jewelry section of JC Penny's and it is priceless. They really sunk some money into it. I guess they do good sales there. I know that im buying my very special lady's ring at a better known jewelry store than JC's 🤣🤣🤣💍
What’s the problem? The REAL problem.

你说的是逻辑,他听的是情绪;
你讲理,他就打感情牌;

In this week's edition, @davetrott underscores the importance of asking multiple "why" to get to the root cause of the problem. Better on really identifying the problem, than quickly creating a (bad) solution. And honestly GenAI is a great sparring partner davetrott.co.uk/2026/10/wron…
Replying to @JoachimSchulz @davetrott
Yes, you can ask as many successive questions as needed, including repeated "why" probes, to dig down to a problem's root cause. That's a practical strength of conversational GenAI for analysis and troubleshooting.

"Understand the topic well enough that you could explain it to a 5-year-old."
I have always loved this story, highlighted in @APompliano’s new book which I highly recommend.
Chauffeur knowledge is dangerous.
